News from Bishop Auckland College/SWDT

I hope you are keeping well in what is proving to be a trying and uncertain time for all of us. I hope you, your students and your families are all healthy and safe. I wanted to quickly get in touch to update you about the Year 11 situation in terms of college applications. Bishop Auckland College/SWDT is continuing to accept applications from school leavers due to start college in September 2020. No interviews have been cancelled and interviews will now take place via phone for the considerable future. Students in Year 11 should apply with their predicted grades, which will form the basis of any offer given. Any adjustments to the level of study will take place in September based on the various initial assessments and skills tests that we conduct during induction. We’ve also cancelled our next open evening events at BAC/SWDT which were due to take place next week. Please let me know if you need any further clarification.
